Are you looking to achieve your best skin yet? The secret may lie in the power of layered laser therapy. This innovative approach combines two or more different laser treatments to target various skin concerns, providing comprehensive rejuvenation and revealing a radiant complexion.

Understanding the Benefits of Layered Laser Treatments

Layered laser therapy offers several advantages over single laser treatments:

  • Enhanced Results: By combining lasers with different wavelengths and mechanisms of action, layered therapy can address a broader range of skin concerns simultaneously.
  • Customization: Layered treatments can be tailored to your specific skin type and needs, ensuring optimal results.
  • Reduced Downtime: Combining treatments in one session can often minimize the overall downtime compared to undergoing multiple separate procedures.

BBL and Halo: A Dynamic Duo for Skin Rejuvenation

One of the most popular and effective laser pairings is BBL (BroadBand Light) and Halo. These two technologies complement each other beautifully, addressing a variety of skin imperfections:

  • Forever Young® BBL: BBL is a provider + patient favorite due to its ability to treat sun damage, hyperpigmentation, acne, rosacea/redness, sagging skin, and much more all in one treatment.
  • Halo Laser: It improves tone and texture, diminishes discoloration, reduces fine lines, minimizes pores, and gives your skin a luminous glow.

Why BBL and Halo Work So Well Together

BBL addresses superficial concerns like sun damage and redness, while Halo targets deeper issues like wrinkles and texture. This BBL Halo combo provides comprehensive skin rejuvenation, resulting in a smoother, brighter, and more youthful appearance.

Targeting Specific Skin Conditions with Layered Laser Therapy

Layered laser treatments can be customized to address various skin concerns. Here are a few examples:

  • Rosacea: BBL can effectively reduce redness and visible blood vessels associated with rosacea. Combining it with a gentle modality like ProFractional™ laser skin resurfacing can help improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of bumps.
  • Sun Damage: BBL is excellent for treating sunspots, age spots, and uneven pigmentation. Pairing it with Halo can further enhance results by addressing fine lines and wrinkles caused by sun exposure.
  • Acne Scars: The Halo laser targets deeper acne scars, while BBL addresses surface-level pigmentation issues, resulting in a more even skin tone and texture.  This powerful combination effectively improves the overall appearance of acne scarring.

Laser Treatment FAQs

Laser treatments are non-surgical procedures that use energy to penetrate through skin layers to address various skin concerns. They can improve sun damage, age spots, wrinkles, fine lines, redness, texture, uneven skin tone and acne scars by revitalizing the skin to promote a healthier, more youthful appearance.

Lasers offer a safe and effective way to improve the health and overall appearance of your skin.

Our laser treatments do more than address surface concerns—they work beneath the skin to stimulate collagen production. This process strengthens the skin’s foundation, restoring elasticity and firmness. Over time, you’ll notice visible improvements such as smoother texture, reduced fine lines, diminished redness, and a more even tone. By enhancing collagen levels, lasers help rejuvenate your skin for a naturally youthful and radiant appearance.

Compared to traditional surgical procedures, laser treatments are minimally invasive, offer shorter recovery times and less discomfort.

The number of treatments depend on a patient’s skin concerns and goals.

Erbium: One (1) treatment. Addresses deeper wrinkles and more extensive skin concerns, offering dramatic results for advanced skin rejuvenation.

BBL (BroadBand Light): Improvement seen with EVERY treatment. Targets pigmentation issues, including redness, browns, and discoloration.

Halo: In as little as one (1) to two (2) treatments. Improves skin texture, tightens, improves fine lines and wrinkles, and reduces pore size.

Avoid sun exposure for 2-3 days before and after your session; for deeper resurfacing treatments, like erbium, avoid sun exposure for 1 week prior and 2 weeks after to ensure proper healing and long-lasting benefits.

Sunscreen use (SPF that says “broad-spectrum” covering both UVB and UVA rays) daily. Don’t forget to apply to your hands as well.

Wear a hat and UPF clothing to protect your skin.

Although laser results are not permanent because the skin is always changing, they can have long-lasting results. It is important to properly care for skin and continue with regular maintenance for maximum results.

This depends on your concerns and goals. Lasers improve skin health by addressing pigmentation, texture, and overall quality of the skin, while injectables restore volume, lift, contour, and soften lines.

Combining both often delivers the most balanced, refreshed look. Dr. Feinstein will personally customize a treatment plan for your specific concerns and desired results.
